The 2024 Raffertys Coastal Run is nearly here! We can’t wait to see you at Lake Macquarie on Saturday.
Firstly, due to recent wet conditions National Parks have recently advised us of some short sections of trail that need to be avoided this weekend. The course has been re-routed to avoid these areas – please follow course markings and directions from marshals on the day. Updated maps and gpx files are available on the event website.
Following from that, there will be sections of the course that are muddy and slippery and you will get your feet wet crossing some of the creeks on course. Come prepared and watch your footing out there!
Race bibs will be available to pick up from registration on Friday Night (between 5:30-7:30pm) and Saturday morning from 7:00am. If you did not receive your bib number via email you’ll find it on the runner list linked below.

As mentioned in the video the event will be a ‘trickle’ start, 2 runners every 5 seconds to help prevent congestion and bottle-necks on course. Please make use of the ‘time target’ signs that will be displayed in the start area.
Please be aware that parking within Raffertys Resort will be limited due to the wet conditions. Once the Resort is full, parking will be along Raffertys Road, and then down near Cams Wharf boat ramp and the parking areas along Crangan Bay Drive. Follow the directions of parking marshals and volunteers to the nearest available parking. Please make sure not to block any driveways or roads when parking. If arriving for the later event starts (22km and 12km especially) you might end up with a 5-10min walk to the Event Centre after finding a park. Plan accordingly, remember we will have a bag drop area for your gear at the Resort.
