A week of on-off rain had everyone wondering what race day would bring. As it turned out, the timing couldn’t have been better!
Wallarah National Park and surrounds served up fast, tacky trails beneath bright winter skies, creating near-perfect conditions for a day of trail running. This year’s course saw the addition of some spectacular ocean views from the coastal trails in Caves Beach for all distances, and a return to Pinny Beach which has been absent for a few years. Everyone navigated the new route brilliantly and embraced every kilometre.
Congratulations to you! Every finish was hard-earned, and every runner added to the atmosphere that makes Raffertys Coastal Run so special.
The team from Outer Image Collective captured the day’s best moments, so don’t forget to check out the photo gallery and relive the adventure.

Thank you to our event partners
We’re incredibly grateful for the organisations that help make Raffertys Coastal Run possible.
A special thank you to Raffertys Resort for once again hosting us at one of Australia’s most spectacular event venues. The lakefront setting creates an atmosphere that’s hard to beat.
Thank you to Lake Macquarie City Council for their ongoing support of the event and trail running in the region.
To Tarkine, thank you for leading the way as Australia’s ethical trail running shoe company and supporting our runners throughout the weekend.
A huge thanks also to Tailwind Nutrition for keeping runners fuelled and moving strong at our aid stations.
Finally, thank you to our charity partner CareFlight. Thanks to the generosity of our running community, we’ve raised vital funds to support their lifesaving work, with the final fundraising total still to be confirmed. Every donation helps CareFlight continue providing critical medical care when it’s needed most.
Thanks for being part of Raffertys Coastal Run 2026. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!!
