Due to the extreme rain in the area over the last couple of days, and more expected we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone Raffertys Coastal Run from this Saturday, the 9th of July. After consulting with National Parks, the local council, the resident of Murrays Beach and Raffertys Resort, as well as course inspections, over the past couple of days, and this morning, it has become clear that the event cannot proceed. It is devastating to once again get so close to delivering this event for all our keen and passionate trail runners. After COVID disruptions and now this we truly feel for runners who have missed out on running the event once again.
We are already working with National Parks and Wildlife Service and Raffertys Resort to secure a new date for the 2022 edition of the Raffertys Coastal Run, as soon as that is confirmed we will let all registered runners know.
All runners registered for the 2022 event will automatically have their entry rolled over to the new event date.
We understand that the new date means that some runners won’t be able to attend. All registered runners have received an email detailing your options.
We thank you for your understanding and support in this difficult time. Our small customer service team is sure to be busy over the next few days so apologies in advance if there are slight delays in replying or processing your requests.
